| Description: Juicy and mostly seedless, this orange have become a native of California, even though it has its origin in Bahia, Brazil. Talk about migration and naturalization!! It is said that the consumption of oranges boosts the body's absorption of Iron from plant foods. It was called the "belly-button orange" because of te bump at the blossom end of the fruit. Often, ripe oranges will have a slight greening. they will keep well in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. Available from November to April or May.
