Oh, by-the-way, a Plantain is a considered by many to be a really grown banana. Many indegineous cultures think of them as the complete food. Also good for upset stomach and possessing mild antibiotic properties, this exotic fruit have been around for thousands of years and should be store and kept at room temperature as they do not keep too well in the refrigerator. Store away from other fruits as they emit ripening gas that may speed the ripening of other fruits store with it.
